THE STILLNESS SESSIONS

In today's fast-paced society where we are constantly pushed to do more, be more, and achieve more, I want to encourage you to take a moment to pause, be still and breathe.

Sitting with silence has become overwhelmingly daunting for many of us, to the extent that we actively create chaos in our lives as a means of avoiding the uncomfortable truth that we are not living in accordance with our true selves. Deep down, we are aware that if we were to truly listen to our inner voice, we would have to confront the fact that we are not leading the life we had envisioned for ourselves.  

 

Living in alignment with our true self is not always an easy task. We often navigate imposed expectations and pressures that can lead us astray from our authentic path. Learning to be still and reconnecting with our inner truth, we can regain control over our life and make choices that align with our deepest values and aspirations.

 

The art of stillness allows you to cultivate a deeper connection to the peace within you, allowing you to remain centered and focused when the world around you is unstable. Each session focuses on an aspect of either your body, mind or soul, supporting you on your transformative journey. Providing guidance and tools to help you navigate the challenges that may arise, creating a space for self-discovery and personal growth, allowing you to live a life that is true to who you are meant to be.

STILLNESS SESSION 1 • BREATH & BODY WORK

Breathe into Stillness

The first thing we do when we enter this earth is take a long deep breath, inviting that precious life giving essence into our bodies. Most of us live our lives without ever thinking, much less acknowledging, the breath that is sustaining us from day to day. Each inhale brings with it the possibility of new beginnings, while each exhale carries away the burdens and worries that weigh us down. By cultivating a deeper awareness of our breath, we can tap into this transformative power and harness it to bring balance and harmony into our lives.

 

Learning to consciously regulate our breath, we can manage our physical body's response to external stimuli, ensuring that our emotional reactions remain balanced and composed, ultimately enabling us to stay in control of our emotional well-being.

Our bodies consist of, and exist in, an energetic field. When not properly cared for, this field acts like velcro, picking up unwanted emotional and energetic baggage, affecting us at an unconscious level. Even if this energetic weight doesn't belong to us, we carry it while it influences our attitude and outlook on life. This baggage accumulates and gets dense, making us feel heavy, fatigued, disinterested or angry, robbing us of our vitality and peace.


By acknowledging and honoring our body as a sacred vessel that houses our soul, we are able to nurture a profound sense of connection with our true essence. This connection acts as a bridge between our physical existence and our spiritual being, allowing us to tap into the infinite wisdom and energy of the universe.

 

During the breath and body work session you will cleanse your energetic field of any chaotic energy, dispelling any buildup that may be causing distress. You will also take away techniques to protect and shield your personal field. In addition you will be guided through a short breathwork session and learn simple breathing techniques to practice at any time during your day.     

 

STILLNESS SESSION 2 • DEPTH COACHING

Unleash your Magick

At our core, we are all perfect, whole and complete. The soul within each of us shines with the illumination and intensity of the sun. The intensity in which our individual soul shines on the outside is dependent upon the shadows we hold inside. Shadows can be defined as traumas, judgements, fears or insecurities that create emotions which hold us back from expressing our true nature.  These emotions cloud our ability to listen to our inner voice, and connect with our authentic being. The challenge is not to suppress or avoid these feelings. The challenge is to feel  these feelings – the dark, the seemingly scary and the painful. To honor and acknowledge them as being a valid part of our human experience. To accept and process them so they no longer control us, or define who we are. So they can release their hold on us, and free our soul.

At our center we are a perfect expression of ourselves. In our human effort to be included we allow social conditioning, life experience and expectations of others to imprint false beliefs in our conscious like "I'm not good enough", or "If they see the "real" me I won't be accepted."  Ask yourself this:  Am I living to make myself happy, or someone else? The truth is you are just as worthy of love as anyone else, just as important and valued as anyone else. You have just as much right to be accepted for who you are as anyone else. I will say that again –  YOU have just as much right to be accepted for WHO YOU ARE as anyone else.  Your soul did not choose you to become someone else. Your soul chose you, to express itself through you, as YOU. 

The Depth Coaching process will assist you in identifying and addressing the areas in your life that prevent the true authentic you from emerging. As these areas are identified, they are brought into awareness to be validated, integrated and released. It starts with a change in perspective, remembering your inner truth, and prioritizing yourself. Knowing your experiences are here
 for your own personal evolution, strengthens your resilience and ability to weather whatever storm that happens to pass through. Knowing that you can co-create this journey and all the experiences you encounter, brings an unwavering sense of peace from the deepest part of your soul.

STILLNESS SESSION 3 • YOGA NIDRA

Release the body to remember the Soul

 

Our bodies restore themselves only when in a state of complete stillness and rest. Through the practice of Yoga Nidra we quiet down the thinking mind, freeing our energy to focus on our internal well-being. We access the source of our energy which is perfect, whole and complete. We re-awaken who we are, and release the illusions of societal imprints, expectations and pressures weighing us down.

The definition of yoga is union and nidra translates as sleep. The art of Yoga Nidra brings union in sleep. We unite our individual energy with the energies of the Universe while our thinking mind is asleep, resulting in an expansion in consciousness. We enter a state of no-mind and non-doing, allowing for deep restoration, relaxation and rejuvenation. Identification of our separate self drops away from the body and mind, all that is left is spacious awareness. Recognizing one’s true nature of being soul essence becomes possible here.

 

Yoga Nidra is a practice performed while laying down (or sitting if laying is not possible). During the session you are guided through a structured process of body scan, intention and visualization; drawing your attention inward, putting you into a state of consciousness that balances on the edge of sleep. The structure allows you to enter deep relaxation while remaining awake, essentially putting the body to sleep while your awareness remains alert. This alert awareness, when developed, offers you the opportunity to explore your connection to the I AM, the spacious existence of all that is.

 

A 45-minute yoga nidra experience is equivalent to three hours of deep, restorative sleep.
